MK IV/MK IVa 6×6 ATMP

The 2022/23 MK IV and MK IVa ATMP has been updated to include full led lighting, Vortex air intake, lightweight seating fitted with quick release inertia seat belts , locker box, Mill spec wireless controlled recovery winch, USB ports, heavy duty floatation tyres and a choice of remanufactured TD and TDI engines.

The ATMP has permanent six wheel drive (6×6) with the front four wheels (two axles) steered conventionally (Ackerman) by using a rotating handlebar arrangement. These handlebars also operate the steering brakes (inboard discs) which act independently on each side of the vehicle giving brake (skid) steering. The ATMP is diesel powered and driven through a torque convertor, four forward and one reverse ratio automatic gearbox and a single differential. Twin output shafts transmit the drive to the two drop gear reduction boxes, which carry the inboard disc brakes. The centre axle is shaft driven direct from the drop gearbox. The centre axles carry the outboard, foot pedal operated disc brakes which are effective on all wheels.

The MK IV/MK IVa 6×6 ATMP is a multi adaptable loading carrying all terrain vehicle platform, built for the civilian and military market place.
